• David and Moffat Dunlap named as Patrons of the Society

• JOINT CAP-CASCA LECTURE TOUR FOR IYA 2009

  The CASCA Executive and Canadian Association of Physicists Council are pleased to announce a joint undergraduate lecture tour to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy. By pooling the resources of our two societies, we will be able to expand on the highly-successful CAP lecture tour and bring the excitement of modern astronomy to Canadian students. • The two students selected to attend the opening ceremonies in Paris, France on January 15-16, 2009 in a national competition organized by a CASCA grad student sub-committee chaired by Kelsey Hoffman are Annemarie Pickersgill (University of Western Ontario) and Deanna Pineau (University of Victoria).
